Liyabona Vuyolwethu Mkatini
Liyabona Mkatini is an entrepreneur and corporate strategist whose experience spans finance, energy, mining, infrastructure and logistics. As Co-Founder and President of KHUMATI Holdings, she leads the group’s strategic direction, commercial positioning and partnership development, with a focus on creating value through investment, negotiation and coordinated execution.
She is also the Founder, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Idingo Group, established in 2014. Her work encompasses business development, capital mobilisation, transaction structuring and the development of strategic relationships across Southern Africa and international markets.
Liyabona brings a commercially focused approach to complex transactions and sensitive stakeholder engagements. She works with investors, business principals, legal counsel and technical specialists to assess opportunities, align interests and develop practical routes towards agreement. Her experience includes coordinating legal and commercial workstreams in matters involving corporate disputes, commercial recoveries, restructuring and negotiated settlements.
At KHUMATI, her responsibilities include investment strategy, funding partnerships, commercial negotiations and stakeholder management. She leads the coordination of multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that financial, legal, operational and institutional considerations inform the group’s decisions and execution.
Her leadership centres on disciplined preparation, clear accountability and sustained engagement—building partnerships that connect commercial ambition with the resources and expertise required to deliver.
Brian Klue, CIWFM
Brian brings more than 20 years of experience in senior management and director roles, working with global companies and high profile clients across America, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
His background combines commercial and operational leadership with experience overseeing complex environments across multiple sites. His responsibilities have included project delivery, financial oversight, risk management, compliance and contractor performance, alongside building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
With a career rooted in facilities, property and estate operations, Brian has led demanding portfolios where safety, service quality and accountability are essential. His leadership has been recognised through performance and health and safety awards.
As Vice President of Khumati Holdings, Brian brings this international experience and practical management approach to the group’s development across energy, infrastructure and resources, with a focus on effective operations, disciplined delivery and lasting business relationships.
